Oklahoma Composer’s Orchestra

The Oklahoma Composer’s Orchestra will be featuring two orchestral works by Daniel Nelson on their upcoming concert, 25 May, 2017. Doctoral Treatise

A doctoral treatise by Lisa Kachouee at Florida State University, entitled The Life and Music of Daniel Nelson with a Performer’s Guide to the Clarinet Concerto, has recently been made available on-line. It contains a catalogue of Nelson’s works, a comprehensive biography, as well as an in-depth analysis of the Clarinet Concerto.

Electric Graffiti

The world premiere of Daniel Nelson’s new concerto for electric guitar and orchestra, Electric Graffiti, will take place on 23 April, 2015, in Västerås. Daniel Nelson has been commissioned to write music for danish choreographer Tina Tarpgaard’s  two-act dancework The Little Prince – based on French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry‘s children’s book of the same name.
